About Ecwevo
Ecwevo answers a question translation cannot: who does over there what this office does here? Sometimes the answer is one body. Often it is four. Sometimes there is none — and then it says so.
How an entry is made
What gets compared is work, not names. For every body we record which functions it performs — issuing a passport, controlling a border, collecting customs duty. The comparison follows from that rather than being asserted.
That is why one entry works in both directions. "The Bundespolizei corresponds to four Congolese bodies" is the same fact as "the DGM is part of what the Bundespolizei does" — recorded once, answered twice.
Sources and review
Every body named here is checked against a reachable, authoritative source before it is published. A search result is a lead, not a citation. Each entry shows its evidence and the date it was last checked.
Where a legal basis cannot be verified it stays empty and the entry says so. An unverified citation is worse than none, because it looks like evidence.
What is not here
Not every office belongs in a catalogue. If a competent adult would work it out unaided in ten minutes, it earns no entry: a pharmacy dispenses medicine in both countries. What gets in is what cannot be guessed, is divided differently, and costs time, money or a legal position to get wrong.

Ecwevo is built by Gerald “Jay” Ngongo Kalala and operated by Narikia UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i. G. — a software company for people and teams working across two administrative systems.
