What the service does

Ecwevo describes how the institutions, qualifications and procedures of two countries correspond by function. Every entry names its sources and the date it was last checked.

Entries are checked before publication but may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. The responsible authority's own answer governs, not this site. Verify anything on which a deadline, a payment or a legal position depends.

Ecwevo describes how systems correspond in practice. It is not legal, tax or immigration advice.

Accounts

An account is optional and exists to save comparisons and submit contributions. You may delete it at any time; what happens to your data is set out in the privacy notice.

Contributions

What you submit is reviewed editorially and may be edited, shortened or rejected. By submitting it you grant permission to publish it on this site. Do not submit material in which someone else holds rights.

Paid placements

Paid placements are labelled as such and name who paid for them. They influence neither the content of an entry nor the order of search results.

Liability

Liability for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, follows the statutory rules. Otherwise liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of this kind of agreement, so far as the law permits.

Changes

These terms may change. The version in force is the one on this page, with the date it was last reviewed.

Governing law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence are unaffected.
